The primary responsibility of a full-time Recruitment & HR Specialist is to source top level talent for an extremely fast paced and innovative digital gaming company.  Additionally, the successful candidate will work with a team to create a unique & engaging corporate culture fit for Vikings.
 
This position is available at the London, ON studio.
 
Responsibilities include:

  • Full-cycle recruitment, including outbound
  • Managing the LMO process & foreign employee relocation
  • The management of co-op student and internship programs
  • Attending career and job fairs, presenting career options to applicants
  • Maintaining excellent knowledge of various benefit & perk programs offered while assisting and supporting these programs
  • Maintaining accurate records of all employees and appropriate documentation of all interviewees

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in Human Resources, Business or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of recruitment experience; in the technology sector preferred
  • 3+ years of general human resource experience
  • problem solving capabilities necessary to accomplish the duties and tasks of the position
  • excellent written and oral communication skills
  • ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills
  • proven good judgment, and ability to confidently handle information
  • strong planning and organizational skills, ability to manage priorities and a high workflow
  • ability to deal with frequent changes, delays and unexpected events
  • proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • excellent interpersonal skills; must be approachable and friendly

The successful candidate will be required to travel up to 50% of the time, and will also need to have the ability to handle a flexible work schedule.
