Job Description
Continuous Improvement Coordinator
Our London area manufacturing client is seeking to hire and Continuous Improvement Coordinator to join their growing team. This role will identify, plan, coordinate, facilitate, and follow-up on continuous improvement activity.Responsibilities:
- Facilitation of continuous improvement meetings & Kaizen activities
- CI Meetings – Weekly
- Kaizen Activity - Monthly
- Project planning, management, and follow-up
- Kaizen preparation - Monthly
- Updating Action Plans – Daily
- Follow-Up – Daily
- Analysis and justification for process improvement (cost / performance improvement)
- As required to support project ideation, selection, and implementation.
- Lean training & project support
- Lean Training – Monthly during Kaizen and as required for project support
- Acquisition of continuous improvement supplies & materials used for Kaizen activities
- Must be passionate about implementing change
- Basic understanding of Lean/continuous improvement principles
- Strong Project Management and change management skills
- Strong people and influencing skills are essential
- Proven problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Presentation skills
- Conflict management skills
- Proven ability to motivate team members to achieve desired results
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Operational background
- Willingness to enroll in educational/training sessions as required
- 5+ years of related experience
