Registered Nurse - Telehealth
 
Our RNs and support staff are committed to excellence and quality health care through the provision of Telephone Triage and Health Information programs to both the private and public sectors.  These services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Our programs incorporate accessible, practical and medically validated health information and symptom triage to support individuals and families and to help them make informed decisions about their healthcare.
 
Job Responsibilities:
RNs respond to callers by assessing their needs, offering appropriate clinical options, identifying health care and community resources and providing information to assist the patient in choosing appropriate intervention for their health situation.
 
Job Requirements:
This position is ideal for RNs who can consistently use a therapeutic relationship as the basis for providing health teaching to callers as well as sharing knowledge with co-workers.  RNs must be registered and in good standing with the licensing body in their jurisdiction and have a minimum 3 years clinical nursing experience with at least 1 year experience in an acute care environment. RNs must have a BScN from an accredited School or a Diploma from a former Registered Nursing program.  Basic computer and typing skills are essential.
