The Business Systems Analyst reports to the Controller.

Purpose of the Role: 
The Business Systems Analyst at North American Brands Inc. is responsible for IT projects that drive efficiencies and process improvements across the organization.  This is a full-time on-site role for someone with a drive to make North American Brands a more efficient organization.  There will be competing requirements that will demand a high level of communication and flexibility.
With the help of 3rd party consultants, the Business Systems Analyst will also support and maintain existing systems and processes.


Principal Responsibilities:
This is a project-based role so the day-to-day tasks will vary as each project develops and as the needs of the organization changes. The Business Systems Analyst will be expected to:
•    Maintain and improve existing systems
•    Implement and see new IT projects to completion
•    Communicate with stakeholders throughout the process to obtain feedback and approval
•    Educate users on how to use software systems and customized system features
•    Create documentation for reference and training purposes
•    Actively participate in adoption and measurement of the success of new processes

Systems include but are not limited to
•    Koerber/Highjump Edge Warehouse Management System (WMS)
•    SPS Commerce
•    True Commerce
•    SAGE 300

Projects include but are not limited to
•    Automation of repetitive tasks
•    Workflow improvements
•    Data clean-up
•    New software purchase and implementation
•    Report creating and production/distribution

Skills and Education:
•    Completion of a college or university degree in Computer Science, project management or business administration or equivalent experience
•    Data processing, reporting skills and analyzing information
•    Advanced written and verbal communication skills
•    Prior finance or accounting experience is an asset
•    Manufacturing or warehouse distribution experience is an asset
•    Experience with software systems listed on page 1 is an asset
