About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity in our Production and Delivery department for a welder/grinder structural to work within a collaborative environment with a drive for excellence to join our London team!
Your duties will also include:
  • Welding, grinding, sanding, cutting and cleaning of various parts to various locations on a vehicle or sub-welding parts for the main vehicle
  • Fixtures and templates may be used to locate the welds and parts to the vehicle or sub-welded parts
  • Some fixtures and parts are manually handled and some are lifted with the jib or overhead crane depending on the size, weight and/or location
 
Required Qualifications:
  • Completed post-secondary program from a recognized welding school
  • Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) certification all positions (CWB or TSSA)
  • Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) certification all positions (CWB or TSSA)
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of Welding work experience
  • Tungsten Inert Gas (GTAW) – experience
  • Inter-provincial Red Seal
 
Additional Requirements:
  • Pass an entrance test that will cover practical / theoretical welding skills and aptitude testing
  • Your resume must clearly identify your skills related to the position and certificates and references must be provided
