Job Description

Summary of Duties



Student reports through the Senior Customer Service Representative or the Manager of Customer and Assessment Services or the Supervisor of Taxation and Revenue. Provides information to the public concerning property taxes and related legislation.



Work Performed



  • Receives and responds to public inquires relating to property taxes at the tax counter, by telephone, or in written form.

  • Receives and processes payments.

  • Completes standard form letters as required.

  • Performs related duties as assigned. 



Qualifications/Experience



Student must be enrolled in a full-time academic program returning to full-time studies September 2022.Student must be enrolled in a full-time Post- secondary or graduate program of Finance, Business, Accounting, and/or a related discipline.



Student must be enrolled in a full-time academic program returning to full-time studies September 2023. 



Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.



Ability to engage members of the public in discussions.



Ability to learn and convey information to others.



Ability to communicate to individuals and small groups.



Proficiency in word-processing, spreadsheet applications and various software



Initiative and organizational skills.



Ability and willingness to work both independently and as part of a team.





Specialized Training & Licenses



Student must be enrolled in a full-time Post- secondary or graduate program of Finance, Business, Accounting, and/or a related discipline.



Student must be enrolled in a full-time academic program returning to full-time studies September 2022. 



Compensation Range



$30,809-$43,507 (annually).



This posting is for (1) temporary full-time Student opportunity. 



Student contract duration is from May-September 2022.
