Job Description
- Position: Electrician
Reports To: Plant Manufacturing Manager
Responsibilities: - Assemble electrical components in large rail and heavy mining equipment from drawings and electrical schematics
- Assemble wiring harnesses from electrical schematics
- Complete final electrical systems testing and certifications
- Complete trouble shooting tasks for electrical problems
- Provide electrical issues feedback to engineering for corrections to designs
- Maintain line cards for electrical components and maintain records for testing
- May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.
- Qualifications
- Minimum college diploma in electrical field
- Minimum five year previous experience in a related electrical assembly
- Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings and schematics
- Knowledge of Danfoss Plus+1 programming is preferred
- A driver's licence is required.
- Wages:
- Will be determined based on education and experience
- Hours:
- Normal hours are from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with the ability to work overtime as required periodically
