Job Description
Our client is looking to hire an Accounting Manager with 5 + years of progressive accounting experience. This is an immediate vacancy working with a great company that offers a challenging and positive work environment. This opportunity is located in Huron Park, Ontario.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide monthly and yearly comparative financial information to management for planning and to foster continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain cost and profit estimates and generate monthly cost reports and trends.
• Maintain and make recommendations for an adequate information system to measure financial and operational results.
• Work closely with management in directing and controlling resources.
• Maintain and make recommendations regarding a system of internal control. .
• Ensure that statutory financial obligations including audit, tax and other Government filings are completed on a timely and efficient manner.
Experience Required
Post Secondary completion with Professional Accounting Designation
Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting
2-5 years supervisory experience
Strong analytical skills
Effective Communication skills and demonstrated ability to work with others
Profit with Microsoft applications
ERP Experience, SAP proficiency would be preferred.
Salary
$65-75K/year
