Summer Position 37.5 hours per week 

As part of our specialist team you will be responsible for all facets of design drafting for our existing and new clients.

Key Responsibilities

Create electrical elevations based on commercial electrical and mechanical finish hardware schedules
Create riser diagrams based on approved product specfication
Interact with Project Management team and Consultants to ask questions in order to translate required functionality into design
Create and maintain a library of design drawings for those typically utilzed for efficiency purposes
Provide direction on specifying electrical and access control products to meet functional needs
Design and benchtest proprietary integration products
As experience progresses create point to point drawings for installation and project management team
Calculate circuit requirements for each opening on schedule to ensure efficient operation
Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

Education:  Diploma in electrical/electronic technician/technology as asset /construction technology/architectural technology  
Proficient use of  AutoCAD LT with minimum of one year experience in utilization for design
Proficient in full suite of Microsoft Products
Working knowledge of electrified hardware and access control systems a plus
