We are seeking an External Sales Representative to represent our brand in London, Ontario, connecting with businesses and organizations to showcase our products and create customized gifting solutions for their customers, employees, and events.
Position Summary:
As an External Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with businesses in London and surrounding areas. You will introduce them to our award-winning chocolates, corporate gifting options, and customizable gift baskets, tailored to meet their needs. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for sales and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a sales strategy to reach businesses in the London area.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
• Educate clients on our product range, including chocolate offerings, corporate gifts, and custom gift baskets.
• Identify and target new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and in-person visits.
• Collaborate with the president/owner to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Provide detailed sales reports and updates on client interactions.
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to identify new opportunities.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in food, gift, or similar industries.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport.
• Self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while reporting to the president/owner.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel within London and surrounding areas.
• Passion for chocolate and an appreciation for premium products is a plus!
Compensation:
• Base Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
• Bonus: 10% commission on all sales.
