Job Description

The Warehouse Inventory Coordinator (or Loaner Kit Coordinator as we call it internally) works in a team to provide kits of orthopaedic medical equipment to sales representatives and hospital customers across Canada. This is a very hands on position which requires attention to detail, physical ability, computer skills and excellent customer service skills.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Receive kits physically and electronically into the inventory management system.
  2. Ensure that kit parts are in place and in working condition.
  3. Take inventory of all missing parts, communicate and replace parts as required.
  4. Coordinate and support medical trials across Canada alongside sales representatives and customers.
  5. Prepare kits to be shipped as required. Work with courier companies to schedule pick up and deliveries, ensuring accurate and on time delivery of all kits.
  6. Work with team to double check all kits.
  7. Promote and maintain a healthy and safe workplace.
  8. Assist with tracking customer orders as required.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills

  1. Post secondary diploma or equivalent years of experience.
  2. A minimum of two (2) years warehouse experience required.
  3. Strong attention to detail, with an eye for small details and the ability to work efficiently and effectively with few errors.
  4. Ability to work under tight deadlines and at times with little notice, while maintaining high quality standards of work.
  5. Demonstrated advanced computer skills with the ability to use email, word processing and electronic spreadsheets. Previous experience with an inventory management system an asset.
  6. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with external and internal customers.
  7. Understanding of various courier systems and protocols (ie. Purolator, Diacom, UPS)
  8. Physically capable of lifting up to 80lbs.
