Agilus is recruiting a Power Platform Specialist for the PMO of our Financial Services client. 

The contract will be for approximately 6 months and will work remote for the initial term of the contract. The contractor can be located in London, Toronto or Winnipeg.

The clients needs an enthusiastic Power Platform specialist to elevate the skillset of a team of practitioners and apply their experience and knowledge towards improving business-oriented systems they’d developed. This contractor would lead and support some critical work we have ahead of us in maturing our project management record keeping and reporting capabilities and in closing audit gaps and reporting for the Risk program, and would also provide our team with some technical skills training / mentoring. The successful candidate will be reporting to Manager, Planning and Reporting.  

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with the team’s leadership and Subject Matter Experts to assess our current Program Management Office solutions created in MS Power Suite of tools and prepare recommendations to improve their performance, stability, and extensibility
apply your knowledge and expertise to design and implement improvements for requested enhancements and changes
establish processes for quality assurance and testing of solutions that support the PMO functions
describe the current system and planned improvements through models and documentation
foster knowledge growth within the team members through orientations, coaching, and group working sessions


Technical Competencies;

Must have Advanced to Expert level skill with MS Power Apps
Must have Advanced to Expert level skill with MS Power Automate
Must have Advanced to Expert level skill with MS Power BI
Must have Advanced to Expert level skill with MS SharePoint
Highly desirable to have Intermediate to Advanced level skill with MS Access
Desirable to have Intermediate to Advanced level skill with MS SQL Server Integration Services
Desirable to have Intermediate to Advanced MS Teams

Knowledge based Competencies

Must have Advanced to Expert level skill coaching, mentoring team members with varying levels of skill
Proven and effective communications skills (written, oral and presentation)
Must have Novice to Intermediate level skill documenting and modelling systems
Desirable to have Novice to Intermediate level skill with Project Management principles and practices
Desirable to have Novice to Intermediate level skill with Accounting principles and practices
Proven experience with Agile development methods and practices
