Position Summary:

The HR Training Coordinator assists the company in meeting its GMP, Customer, Compliance, Health & Safety, and Environment requirements as well as meeting its’ Continuous Improvement initiatives through the administration, development, and organization of education and training programs. The Coordinator organizes and/or conducts training sessions as required and maintains all education and development related database and materials. 
 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Documents the employee Qualification program, including measures for ensuring employees are trained and can perform the required tasks of a position
  • Maintains approved certified trainers list
  • Maintains training syllabi, updates training database (i.e. TM2000), and maintains employee training records in files/binders
  • Supplies training reports and generates the Outstanding SOP lists for employees
  • Schedules and delivers training to employees including temporary associates and measures the effectiveness of the learning
  • Develops and maintains policies and procedures associated with education, aligned with corporate program
  • Monitors and makes recommendations to training related procedures to ensure compliance to GMP
  • Participates in employee orientation
  • Anticipates, researches, develops, schedules, evaluates, and documents training as required to meet all business needs.
  • Work with Leaders to assess when training is required (new employees, role changes, expired training etc.)
  • Provides coaching and feedback to ensure transfer of knowledge to the tasks
  • Administer employee testing/assessments related to recruitment and qualifications
  • Performs other related duties as required

Skills and Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum of Grade 12
  • Completion of (or equivalent) specialized courses normally taught in community or recognized specialized colleges is preferred and considered an asset.
  • Experience working in a pharmaceutical, manufacturing and/or GMP facility is ideal.
  • Previous experience in an education environment an asset
  • Skill gained by experience - over 2 years required
  • Strong organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills required
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software

This position is located at our Strathroy, Ontario location which is just 20 minutes west of London.
