Job Description

Armo Tool is a steadily growing manufacturer of Precision Tooling, Dies and Special Machines and has been in operation since 1969. We are currently looking for a:
 
Incoming Inspection/Material Handling- Manufacturing Group
 
Skill/Effort Requirements:
  • Excellent knowledge of materials and processes
  • Knowledge of ISO standards
  • Computer skills
  • Knowledge of measuring devices
  • Customer service focused
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a team focus, and the ability to work in cross functional teams and develop collaborative relationships
  • Effective decision making and problem solving skills with the ability to work under pressure/stress to meet tight timelines and schedules
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong conflict resolution skills.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Perform incoming inspection
  • Assist with and maintain smooth material flow throughout receiving area and manufacturing
  • Perform accurate mechanical, physical and visual inspection of raw materials, components and sub assemblies in accordance with Specification Requirements.
  • File all Quality Assurance article/material history records
  • Initiate Non-Conformance reports (Material Rejection Notices) as required.
  • Document and report inspection findings and results and monitor corrective actions to those findings.
  • Upload and review information on the computer in various databases and other internal programs
  • Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures.  Comply with all quality, safety and work rules and regulations
  • Move material internally from finished location to incoming locations as specified
  • Move material from receiving to specified locations
  • Other duties as assigned.
Working Condiitons:
  • Exposure to dirt and noise in a manufacturing environment.
