Job Description

Armo Tool is a steadily growing manufacturer of Precision Tooling, Dies and Special Machines and has been in operation since 1969. We are currently looking for a:

Incoming Inspection/Material Handling- Manufacturing Group

Skill/Effort Requirements:

Excellent knowledge of materials and processes
Knowledge of ISO standards
Computer skills
Knowledge of measuring devices
Customer service focused
Strong interpersonal skills, a team focus, and the ability to work in cross functional teams and develop collaborative relationships
Effective decision making and problem solving skills with the ability to work under pressure/stress to meet tight timelines and schedules
Effective oral and written communication skills
Strong conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities:

Perform incoming inspection
Assist with and maintain smooth material flow throughout receiving area and manufacturing
Perform accurate mechanical, physical and visual inspection of raw materials, components and sub assemblies in accordance with Specification Requirements.
File all Quality Assurance article/material history records
Initiate Non-Conformance reports (Material Rejection Notices) as required.
Document and report inspection findings and results and monitor corrective actions to those findings.
Upload and review information on the computer in various databases and other internal programs
Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures. Comply with all quality, safety and work rules and regulations
Move material internally from finished location to incoming locations as specified
Move material from receiving to specified locations
Other duties as assigned.

Working Condiitons:

Exposure to dirt and noise in a manufacturing environment.
