Job Description

The selected candidate will assist with research, data entry, event planning, and communications related to alumni, parents, donors, and students through a variety of projects throughout the work term.

The selected candidate will assist with the following:
  • Coordinate the Discovery Call Program and the Young Alumni Calling Program - contacting alumni for the first time, or reconnecting with alumni by phone to provide updates, learn about their King’s experience, and listen to any feedback or inquiries.
  • Data-entry of various donor, student, parent, and alumni data on Raiser’s Edge database.
  • Assist with research projects related to alumni and donor data.
  • Assist with fundraising and alumni events as requested.
  • Assist with communication platforms upon request (social media, emails, alumni magazine).
  • Various other tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Effective September 7, 2021, all employees and visitors to campus are required to comply with King’s COVID-19 Vaccination Policy.
  • The ideal candidate will currently enrolled in a Post-Secondary program.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills are required
As this role is being funded by the Canada Summer Jobs program. The following are eligibility requirements:
  • Be between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment
  • Be a Canadian Citizen, permanent residents, or persons to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations
TYPE OF JOB:
Full-time Student Contract – 35 hours per week for 8 weeks

EFFECTIVE DATE:
June 2022

SALARY RANGE:
$15.60 per hour
