Job Description
Reporting to the General Manager, the Financial Manager is a professional and thorough individual whom participates in the planning of work relating to the processing of accounting documents. The individual also ensures that documents and data are accurate and correctly processed through various accounting systems according to established standards. The Financial Manager also coordinates all month/year end processes, reconciliations, as well as maintains and distributes financial controls and reports. The Financial Manager will hold a critical role as part of the Management Team, providing ongoing analysis of operational efficiencies, cost development, and evaluation of investment opportunities.
Education/Experience
The Financial Manager must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. The individual must possess formal accounting education as well as 2 to 3 years financial managerial experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Must be trustworthy and dependable and have strong analytical skills.
