Accounting Administrator

         PREREQUISITES:

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma or Equivalency, college diploma preferred

• Experience with QuickBooks

• Advanced written / verbal communication skills, problem solving and analytical skills

• Advanced knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Excel and Word

• Willing to travel locally between Tillsonburg and St. Thomas (the position is based in Tillsonburg but travel to St. Thomas is required)
  
  RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process payroll ensuring accuracy and timely submission
  Ensure the strict confidentiality and privacy of financial records as they relate to the organization and its business partners

• Conduct yourself in a professional and courteous manner at all times

• Responsible for all invoicing, AR and AP, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards

• Responsible for the preparation of AP cheques and electronic payments

• Responsible for balancing vendor statements

• Prepare and distribute invoices as per required schedule

• Advise Accounting Supervisor of delinquent customer accounts or any customer concerns

• Assist in the preparation of month end and year end

• Maintaining filing systems

• Performs other duties as assigned
