Customer Service Representative (Maternity Leave 12 month)

The Role:
To act as the internal liaison and customer service support between the Business Development Representatives, assigned customer accounts and production.  Support customers’ requests for production, ensuring efficient quotations and processing of orders.  Provide estimating support as required.  Interact with graphic design/sample making, pre-press and production to ensure customer delivery dates are achieved.  
 
Skills/Qualifications required:
 
  • Previous customer service representative experience (manufacturing environment an asset)
  • Demonstrated estimating background an asset
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment (ideally paperboard printing and/or packaging)
  • Post-Secondary Education in Business Administration/Marketing or equivalent
  • Computer skills including the use of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Computer literate able to use CRM
 
Interpersonal skills:
 
  • Excellent communication skills essential, ability to give clear written and verbal instructions, clearly understand and explain technical and manufacturing issues to customers and have good understanding of procedures and processes.
  • Able to identify areas of weakness within processes and customer specific procedures and help find innovative solutions.
  • Highly responsible, reliable and flexible with a strong work ethic
  • Able to effectively prioritize and adapt to a varied and changeable workload
  • Punctual, presentable and with good people skills
