We are looking to hire a dedicated and committed General Manager for our business to manage, direct and control business operations and please measures for growth.

About the position: Ace City Inc. has reached a point of growth that warrants rethinking and restructuring its human resources at the top management level. We are eager to hire a General Manager who will be a catalyst leader to lead the overall financial, sales and operational performance of the company. He should be a “forward thinking” while equally operationally engaged in a manner that supports the team to accomplish its goals and grow revenue.

Compensation: $57.30 per hour/32hours per week
Overtime: $85.95 per hour after 44 hours per week
Vacation: 15 paid days or vacation pay 4% of the gross pay
Sick days: 10 working days
Job Protected unpaid leave: 10 days for personal emergencies such as illness, injury and certain other emergencies and urgent matters.
Bonus: The Company at its sole discretion may provide a bonus to the
General Manager outside of dividends and salary, based on the Company’s financial performance.

Minimum qualifications for this position must meet the following criteria:
  • Education – Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent
  • Experience in transportation operations, including supervisory experience.
  • Administrative experience related to logistics and transportation.
  • Must have industry experience, specifically in a management environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • High initiative, self-motivation and strong leadership qualities
  • Proven track record of team building and growth.
  • Integrative thinker with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of truck driving operations, rules and regulations, marketing, and business development
  • Must possess excellent business communications and customer service skills, with the ability to ask probing questions and understand and resolve customer concerns.


Job Responsibilities:
  • Establish and plan business goals and growth strategy.
  • Establish financial and administrative objectives and approve policies and overall human resources planning.
  • Gather and compile reports and statistics from TMS to assist management in the development of policies and procedures and provide recommendations in the planning of business growth and exploring new business avenues. 
  • Allocate financial, logistics, human and marketing resources to implement company objectives and goals.
  • Ensure transport compliance with regulations to establish and implement the industry policies and standards.
  • Plan and approve personnel planning and hiring.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations of the business.
  • Lead and ensure a safe working environment for the staff.
  • Monitor and manage company growth and performance on a regular basis.
  • Develop and recommend an annual operating budget and business plans to support strategic goals and objectives.
  • Delegate staff to act on behalf of the company in negotiations or other official functions.
