                                                                  Assistant, Elementary School (0.5 FTE, 10 month position)

Location:        North Meadows P.S., Strathroy

Hours of Work:    9:00 am – 12:30 pm Monday to Friday (Subject to Article 15.01(b))

Rate of Pay:          $17.91 - $21.48 per hour

Duties to Commence:     2016 August 29

Job Summary:  The Assistant, Elementary School has the primary responsibility for making calls regarding student absences under “Attendance/Safer Arrivals” policy, and for providing general support with clerical duties, information and data management. Duties may vary according to school size and organization.

Qualifications:   Candidate must possess an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with business and keyboarding (50 w.p.m.) skills. The ability to used Word and Excel is also required. Selected candidates must successfully complete a practical skills assessment.




                                                                   Secondary School Assistant (0.5 F.T.E. 10 MONTH)

Location:          Strathroy District Collegiate Institute, Strathroy


Rate of Pay:        $17.91 - $21.48

Hours of Work:    12:30 pm – 4:00 pm Monday to Friday (Subject to Article 15.01(b))

Duties to Commence: 2016 August 29

Job Summary: The Secondary School Assistant completes tasks related to student attendance under the “Attendance/Safe Arrivals” police, performs reception duties and assists with clerical and data management tasks. Duties will vary according to school size and organization.

Qualifications: Candidate must possess an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with business and keyboarding (50 w.p.m) skills. The ability to use Word and Excel is also required. Selected candidates must successfully complete a practical sklls assessment.
