Job Description

On behalf of our client in London, ON, we are currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant to the Operations Manager on an evaluation hire basis. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively and professionally with team members and clients.
 
Duties (include but not limited to):
  • Handle correspondence on behalf of the Operations Manager with internal and external associates
  • Assist in creating schedules and assigning tasks
  • Entry of timesheets
  • Coordinate with different departments to ensure that tasks are completed
  • Coordinate with external parties regarding quotes, orders, etc.
  • Compile and prepare reports in document and spreadsheet form as required
  • Other duties as required
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 year College Diploma required
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in a similar role, experience within a manufacturing or business environment considered an asset
  • Excellent computer skills; proficient with MS Office Suite required
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • English/Portuguese bilingual is considered a strong asset
  • Must have a reliable vehicle as this company is not located on a bus route
Hours:
  • Monday-Friday; daytime hours
Compensation:
  • $14-16/hour depending upon experience
