We are looking for a Technology Training Specialist to help members of our firm cultivate their technical skills and knowledge. You will provide on-the-job education to newly hired employees along with ongoing training for new or updated applications.

We are looking for a Technology Training Specialist to help members of our firm cultivate their technical skills and knowledge. You will provide on-the-job education to newly hired employees along with ongoing training for new or updated applications.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Develop training materials and deliver new hire onboarding sessions, including firm policies, firm systems and resources and telephone training
- Develop training materials, job aids, eLearning materials and user guides to prepare for and deliver one-on-one, small group and classroom training sessions (e.g software, hardware or telephone upgrades).
- Answer questions or resolve application problems concerning the use of most hardware and software
- Manage the firm’s Learning Management System (LMS) and the creation of Learning Plans;
- Develop templates and/or forms in MS Office or other applications to automate document production or completion
- Respond to helpdesk tickets related to training needs
- Help develop workflows and best practices for common processes.
- As a critical member of the IT team, be heavily involved with software upgrades, rollouts and managing change.
Requirements
- College diploma, preferable in business or IT
- At minimum 3 years’ related work experience
- Prior experience in a law firm or other professional services organization would be an asset;
- Knowledge of legal applications would be an asset;
- Knowledge of adult learning strategies;
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of MS Office and Microsoft products. MS Office certification an asset but not a requirement.
- Experience with eLearning applications such as Captivate, Camtasia, Snag-It or Screencast-O-Matic would be an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technology.
