Job Description

On behalf of our client in London, ON, we are currently recruiting for a Corporate System Administrator on an evaluation basis. The primary function of this role is to support the server and hardware operations of the company and IT customers with general help related to IT issues.
 
Duties (include but not limited to):
  • Provide technical support for all product solutions involving servers and networking
  • Monitor activities of all servers
  • Provide desktop and user support across multiple companies
  • Support the corporate IT team with network services (LAN, WAN, telephone, hardware & software)
  • Complete all administrative tasks including TMS, ADP, your own self-appraisals and other tasks within expected timeframes
  • Make recommendations on highly technical or complex issues
Requirements:
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification (Server 2012), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent
  • Post-secondary education; preferably IT related
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment in selecting and interpreting information, handling deviations from standard methods and resolving difficulties
  • Ability to adapt and apply procedures to address unusual problem situations and resolve most conflicts
  • Ability to priority and manage projects
  • Experience with Microsoft Server 2003, 2008 and 2012
  • Experience with Linux and Cisco
Compensation dependent upon experience
