Job Description

Talentcor, London Office, is currently looking for a Payroll Administrator for our client located in London, ON. This is an approximate 6 month contract position.

 

Position Overview:

Within a defined portfolio and under the supervision of the Payroll Supervisor the successful candidate will administer the payroll process and documentation of newly hired employees, retirees, terminations and lay-offs as they relate to benefits and compensation. The incumbent will also be responsible for the administration and reconciliation of leave absences for all staff groups, Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), claim/payment process as well as sick and vacation entitlements.

 

Requirements:

Post-secondary two (2) year diploma in Payroll, Business, Finance or Human Resources or equivalent related discipline ---has to be a two year diploma vs. a 1 year certificate

Minimum 3 years practical experience in Payroll/Human Resources environment

Canadian Payroll Association (Payroll Compliance Practitioner/Certified Payroll Manager) certificate would be an asset.
