Estimator
On behalf of my client in London, a growing firm in the Building Construction Industry, I’m recruiting for a seasoned Construction Estimator. The ideal candidate would possess 3 or more years in a similar position with full responsibilities for estimating and project involvement from concept to construction.
Estimator Requirements:
This opportunity has the potential to grow into a Team Lead, Project Manager or Senior Estimator.

On behalf of my client in London, a growing firm in the Building Construction Industry, I’m recruiting for a seasoned Construction Estimator. The ideal candidate would possess 3 or more years in a similar position with full responsibilities for estimating and project involvement from concept to construction.
Estimator Requirements:
- Preferred Education: Architectural Technology, Fanshawe College or similar
- 3 to 5 Years’ Experience in the Building Construction Industry in a related position
- Software: Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Additional Experience with AutoCAD or Revit is considered an asset
- Confident with Mathematics, basic calculations without a calculator with accuracy
- Ability to work within strict deadlines and prioritize time effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to take direction and follow policies and procedures
- Accurately and efficiently prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs from drawings for construction projects
- Validate estimates through comparison to similar projects, existing designs and as-built data
- Review scope of work, analyze drawings and evaluate requirements for pricing
- Investigate and troubleshoot inventory discrepancies and understand transactions in the inventory database
- Maintain supporting documents and files
