Autoneum Canada Ltd, is seeking an Industrial Electrician  to join our facility in London, Ontario.  
 
Autoneum, with registered offices in Winterthur, Switzerland, is the globally leading producer of vehicle acoustics and thermal management systems. The company develops and manufactures components, modules and complete systems for interior and engine bay as well as heat shields and underbody shields. Customers include leading automobile producers in the key markets Europe, North America, South America and Asia. Autoneum is represented at about 50 locations in over 20 countries and employs some 10,000 people worldwide.  Autoneum North America, operates facilities located in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio, South Carolina, Indiana, as well as two facilities here in Ontario
 
 
 Key Accountabilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment to maximize operating performance; detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
• Design and test hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment and systems (involves circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, servo drives, etc.).
• Operating power house equipment (e.g. boilers, air compressors, chillers, electrical distribution, etc.)
• Perform basic administrative skills including computer data entry and documentation of work performed by written and electronic methods.
• Installs, examines, replaces and repairs all types of  hydraulic and pneumatic devices: including valves, actuators, pumps, as well as all types of  mechanical drive assemblies
• Contribute to continuous improvement, productivity, quality, customer service, cost reduction and safety
• Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor

 
 Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Ontario Electrician License
• 3 years of experience working in an industrial setting; we are open to reviewing applicants who have recently graduated their apprenticeship with industrial experience.
• Experience working with Allen Bradley PLC’s, SLC’s Panelview and frequency drives; hydraulics and pneumatic systems.
• Good trouble-shooting skills and the ability to read Schematics
• This position will be posted to the midnight shift
• Ability to identify causes of problems and develop methods of correction
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt easily to time constraints as required
