The Opportunity:
On behalf of one of our valued clients we are currently hiring a Heavy-duty Equipment Technician for an Agricultural Business in the Springfield area.
The Rewards:
Opportunity for 40hrs/week+
$17.00 /hr+4% Vacation Pay [may increase wage depending on experience]
Direct Deposit Paid Weekly
Potential of getting hired on permanently after [480 hours/ 6 months]- **Contingent upon your overall job performance and the needs of the client.**
The Responsibilities:
Check equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
Diagnose faults or malfunctions using testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand and power tools
Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment
Attach components and adjust equipment.
The Selection Criteria:
Must have Certification and Prior Experience
Must be able to communicate well with others.
Must be able to work under pressure in some situations.
Must be able to meet safety requirements and follow applicable safety polices.
Work overtime if required
