Job Description

Our client, London Hospital Linen Service Inc. provides integrated laundry services for healthcare facilities in London and Southwestern Ontario, and has been doing so for 49 years. At this time, we are recruiting for an outgoing highly motivated Individual to join our Human Resource Team as a Human Resources Associate with primary Recruitment focus.

Responsibilities:

Primarily responsible for the full recruitment life cycle including:

  • Pre-screening and interviewing candidates for production.
  • Source candidates using social media tools, recruiting resources and personal networks and job fairs.
  • Complete employment references.
  • Prepare new hire orientation packages.
  • Complete the onboarding of new hires and delivering first-day training.
  • Input and maintain HRIS system and prepare reports as required.

HR Associate:

  • Support the HR Manager and HR Team with other HR initiatives and employee related HR Programs to ensure the employees are supported.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary Education, completion of a Human Resources Diploma.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of HR Generalist and Recruitment experience.
  • Prior work experience in a unionized environment an asset.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
  • Strong knowledge of HR legislation & practices, including Employment Standards & Human Rights.
  • Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail is a must.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of applications.
