Job Description
Do you have interest in teaching neurodiverse children? We are hiring An Educational Assistant to work with an amazing 12 year old, in Grade 6, who happens to have Down Syndrome.
Are you organized, confident, physically fit, self motivator, comfortable modifying work and finding alternative ways of teaching, flexible, observant with a good sense of humour?
WHERE: Montessori Academy of London, 719 Waterloo Street
WHEN: September 2023 - June 2024
HOURS: 8:45am - 3:45 pm Monday to Friday
SALARY: to be discussed based on education & experience
QUALIFICATIONS: Any of the following will be considered - BEd degree, DSW with teaching experience, Educational Support diploma, Special Education training, Post-secondary diploma/degree with teaching experience
