What’s a Sales and Marketing Administrator?

Reporting to the Employment Solutions Supervisor, the Sales and Marketing Administrator will be responsible for engaging community employers and utilizing technology to market Goodwill Career Centre employment programs, as well as administrate other employment program services.

What’s the role?

  • Market and match government programs and resources to the needs of employers and participants
  • Match client skills to available employment opportunities
  • Engage employers and build relationships within Goodwill’s service area using social media and other traditional marketing methods
  • Provide administrative support to Goodwill’s employment program services, including: data entry, file maintenance, scheduling and other tasks as needed
  • Maintain and update client tracking systems
  • Follow all safety standards set out in legislation and/or Goodwill policies
  • Be actively involved in the health, well-being and safety of themselves and their team

Do you fit the part?

  • Do you have at least 1 year of experience in an marketing support role?
  • Do you have experience with marketing/outreach to employers?
  • Have you worked with Government programs, such as: Employment Ontario, Ontario Works, ODSP, or the Youth Employment Fund?
  • Do you have strong business relationship, problem solving, and negotiation skills?
  • Have you represented clients who may face barriers to employment, especially youth?
  • Do you have excellent administrative skills, including:
    • Excellent writing skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
    • Ability to work independently as well as within a multi-disciplinary team
    • Strong computer and social media skills
    • Do you hold a driver’s licence, and are you available for work-related travel?
    • Are you familiar with health & safety legislation in the workplace?
