The Maintenance Worker is a full-time hourly position.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
 
Tasks & Responsibilities: 

           
Mechanical & Electrical

• Maintain and repair all shop machines/equipment including but not limited to welding equipment, plasma cutters, threading machines and hand power tools.  
• Complete regular checks of forklift trucks – fluid levels, tire condition, controls etc.
• Arrange for fork lift inspections as needed
• Regular inspection and lubrication of cranes
• Arrange annual crane inspections

 Building Maintenance

• Compressed air monitoring and maintenance
• Exhaust fan inspections, maintenance and repairs
• Lighting repairs – tube/bulb replacements
• Heater unit inspection scheduling
• Overhead doors maintenance

 Fabricating – Welding

• Building racks, crates and other items as needed

 Misc.

• Order welding supplies, plasma consumables

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of maintenance and repairs of plasma cutters and welding machines 
• Minimum 5 years manufacturing maintenance experience
• Welding experience
• Electrical certficate
• Millwright experience an asset 
• Ability to work independently and within timelines
• Basic computer skills
