Job Description
ADECCO currently looking to recruit of a Human Resources Generalist for our client in St. Mary’s, ON for a three month contract. The successful candidate for this opportunity will have excellent recruitment experience in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities for the Human Resources Generalist:
- Recruitment and hiring for hourly manufacturing employees
- Conducting orientation and training of employees
- Monitoring of performance appraisal procedure
- Responsible for the payroll of employees
- Maintains personnel files
- Manage WSIB claims and billings and all communication with WSIB
- Responsible for timely LTD applications and all employee related concerns
- Manage the Joint Health and Safety Program
- Assist management to ensure the fair and reasonable implementation of company policies and procedures
- Assist with the development, interpretation and continual updating of HR policies and procedures including the Employee Handbook
- Act as a resource to Supervisors with regards to policies, etc.
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- University Degree required
- Previous Experience in an HR environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Excellent time management
- Experience in a manufacturing environment an asset
