Job Summary
The Client Service Associate is responsible to provide individual insurance and investment sales and service support to new and existing clients. The Client Service Associate works as an assistant to an assigned advisor or group of advisors to support the achievement of the advisor’s sales and business goals and provides excellent client experiences.
The job is accountable to document all client-related activity in the Client Relationship Management (CRM) software and to track and report on tasks.

Qualifications
- Successful completion of a post secondary diploma in Office Administration, Business, or related program
- Up to two (2) years previous related experience in a financial advisory services firm
- Life Licensed Qualification Program (LLQP) licensed
- Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC), preferred
- Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (MFDA) Mutual Fund license, an asset
- Knowledge of individual life, disability, and critical illness insurance administration
- Knowledge of investment administration, including RESPs, RRSPs, RDSPs, LIRAs, RRIFs, LIFs, GICs, TFSAs, and non-registered accounts
- Solid understanding of industry compliance regulations & requirements
- Demonstrated basic to intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe pdf, and an aptitude for learning new technology
- Demonstrated experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (ex. Sage)
- Experience with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or similar video conferring software, preferred
- Experience with DocuSign or similar secure digital signature software, preferred
- Professional demeanour and friendly approach with clients and team members, in person, on the phone, and over email
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Acts with tact and discretion
- Maintains confidentiality
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences; investigates and responds to issues promptly
- Accurate with a high attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize
