Job Description
School Age Site Supervisor & Educator- Part-time
Location: Various elementary schools throughout London, Strathroy, Lucan, Glencoe, St. Thomas, Delaware, Tillsonburg, Ingersoll, Woodstock & West Nissouri
Hourly Wage: $13.00-$13.50 per hour based on experience and qualifications

• Develop and facilitate a Before and After school program for students 4 – 12 years of age in their school.
• Ensure Ministry standards and program policies are followed and maintained at the School Age site.
• Supervise School Age Educators ensuring program planning is complete and age appropriate, as well as ensuring protocols and policies are in place and followed at the school age site.
• Complete administrative duties for the school age site.
• Ensure the safety of students enrolled in the program through direct supervision, attendance protocols, and age appropriate programming
• Use creative strategies to ensure the program is meeting the needs of the students and community
• Professionally communicate with caregivers, school personnel and families
• Proactively develop positive relationships with children, parents, peers, and volunteers.
• Work closely with other team members, parents, and outside agencies in a professional and courteous manner.
Other Job Details:
• All YMCA staff receive a FREE YMCA Membership for themselves, spouse, and children.
• Hours of operation Before School 7:15am-9:15am and or After School 3:00pm-6:00pm. Some rural school programs begin at 7:00 am.
• Potential in between hours as a supply or lunch coverage in our Child Care Centers and Community School Programs
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years experience working with children
• Priority will be given to applicants with an ECE diploma, Child and Youth worker or Recreation Leadership Diploma or equivalents
• Current CPR/Standard First Aid
• Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Screening
