Finance & Administration Manager
 
Position Summary:
 
Reporting to the Director, Finance & Administration the Finance & Administration Manager is responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting and provides regulatory accounting support.   
 
The positions’ major responsibilities include;
 

• Assisting in the development and maintenance of accounting principles, practices and procedures;
• Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting;
• Adhering to tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities;
• Financial reporting, year-end audit preparation, supports budget and forecast activities;
• Reconciliation of various regulatory accounts;
• Overseeing the accounting staff to ensure deadlines are adhered; and,
• Continuous communication with the Management Team.

 
The incumbent will bring the following skills, attributes and experience to the position;
 

• A minimum of a university degree in business or equivalent.
• CPA,CMA or CPA,CGA designation.
• 5- 10 years progressive experience in financial or business management, including management of staff.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal.
• Experience with payroll administration is a definite asset.
