Job Description

Armo Tool Ltd.is a steadily growing manufacturer of Precision Tooling, Dies and Special Machines and has been in operation since 1969. We are currently looking for an:
  Expeditor
General Description
The Expeditor will communicate with Vendors, Purchasing, Shippers and Project Managers to ensure all needed supplies and materials are delivered in a timely manner to the proper location. They will process Vendor returns and manage shipment inaccuracies.  This person must always be aware of the crucial nature of the position to other business units that depend on accurate and timely movement of incoming items. The Expeditor will also perform regular purchasing duties as required.
Skill/Effort Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a team focus, and the ability to work in cross functional teams and develop collaborative relationships.
  • Effective decision making and problem solving skills with the ability to work under pressure/stress to meet tight timelines and schedules.
  • Knowledge of Global Sourcing, including Customs and freight procedures for import/export of goods.
  • ERP/MRP systems knowledge as well computer literacy, including working with office 365.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills as well as conflict resolution skills.
  • Good organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
  • Knowledge of metal processing, tools, steel properties.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Ability to foster strong, impartial and ethical relationships with vendors.
  • Ability to demonstrate Lean Manufacturing techniques and capabilities
Responsibilities
  • Maintain constant communication with Vendors, Purchasers, Receivers and internal Staff involved to ensure that all needed materials and supplies are in place as per schedule.
  • Communicate to all stakeholders when delays in supply chain arise.
  • Anticipate problems and have a contingency plan in place to solve them.
  • Contact suppliers to obtain RMA’s and manages proper document process.
  • Maintain organized work area as per policies, procedures and safety regulations.
  • Maintains Min/Max stock levels for regularly stocked items, as per pre-set vendor agreements.
  • Prepare detail audit programs for use in supplier audits
  • Create Purchase requisitions as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
