Job Description
Pursuit Health Management is a multi-disciplinary rehabilitation company located in London, ON. Our team of healthcare professionals includes Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Massage Therapists, Social Workers, Vocational Rehabilitation Consultants and Nurse Case Managers. We assist individuals in their recovery from injuries sustained in motor vehicle accidents, workplace incidents or long term health related conditions, which has prevented a return to work.
We are currently recruiting for a Kinesiologist to work on a part-time basis.
Duties include:
- Working in a clinic environment in conjunction with our physiotherapists, providing exercise instruction
- Work hardening/work conditioning programs in clinic and community
- Aquatic therapy in community pools
- Exercise programming in community gyms
- Work collaboratively with our Occupational Therapists to increase client's functional tolerances
- Complete one/two day Functional Capacity Evaluations
- Complete worksite assessments
- Degree in Kinesiology from a recognized University
- Registered with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario
- Experience with Functional Abilities Evaluations/Worksite Assessments
- Superior Communication Skills (Verbal and Written)
- Excellent time management abilities to manage complex caseload
- Vehicle (travel throughout S.W. Ontario)
