JOB DESCRIPTION

The Junior Security Technician is a motivated, organized, and personable individual willing to be trained and develop his/her experience and expertise in the area of service and installation of Alarm Intrusion, Access Control and CCTV Systems. The Junior Security Technician is a team player and a vital member of FCFP’s Team.  Technical aptitude and willingness to learn and work hard are core traits we look for.

The Junior Security Technician is a full-time hourly position.  He/she will be responsible for the following tasks:

•    Assist in installation work on various security and access control systems
•    Run cabling and conduit for various systems
•    Assist Security Technicians as required to complete project
•    Learn FCFP’s products and procedures

Qualifications    

•    Motivated to serve and participate in a team environment
•    Strong organizational skills 
•    Strong aptitude in technology 
•    Keen understanding of customer care.
•    Experience running cables or conduit an asset
•    Working understanding of computer networking an asset
•    Willingness to learn new concepts and keep growing one’s knowledge base

The Junior Security Technician will report directly to the Security Project Manager.
