Job Description
Rehabilitation Therapists required in London, Woodstock, Ingersoll, Sarnia, Chatham, Goderich and surrounding areas to work as part of team to optimize the recovery of individuals following a motor vehicle collision. Candidates would work with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech language pathologists and other regulated health professionals to implement therapeutic goals in a variety of settings. The following essential skills are required:
- Candidates should have a minimum 2 years of experience working with individuals who have sustained an acquired brain injury, spinal cord, and/or significant orthopedic injuries
- Strong communication, observation and organizational skills
- Education in a related field would is preferred (e.g. OTA/PTA,Kinesiology, CDA or appropriate health related field)
- Knowledge of local community resources for community reintegration activities
- Candidates must be able to work flexible hours and in a variety of environments
- A reliable vehicle is required to travel to/from client's home (including transporting clients in the community)
