SENIOR LAW CLERK
We have an immediate opening for a law clerk in our commercial litigation department. The successful candidate will work as part of a team for a senior partner.

We have an immediate opening for a law clerk in our commercial litigation department. The successful candidate will work as part of a team for a senior partner.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Prepare, transcribe, edit, format and revise correspondence, reports, litigation documents, and forms
- Prepare pleadings, motion materials, affidavit of documents, and pre-trial memoranda
- Assist partner in the preparation and coordination of hearings and trials
- Record and monitor court appearance dates, pleadings and filing requirements
- Schedule and coordinate discoveries and expert witnesses
- Manage and update calendar including meetings, appointments, due dates, and client-related activities
- Enter dockets and prepare accounts
Required skills:
- Proven work experience as a senior law clerk working in a law firm with focus on commercial litigation
- Ability to work independently
- Commitment to excellence and detail
- Proficient in Rules of Civil Procedure and Court forms
- In-depth knowledge of legal terminology, court rules, protocols and procedures
- High proficiency in English
- Superior transcription skills
- Hours of work are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, flexibility required in order to meet important deadlines
