Sheffar Potter Muchan Inc. is a leading insurance agency in life, living benefits, investments and group employee benefits. We are seeking an individual to fill a full time position.  
 
Responsibilities:
 

• processing life, disability and critical illness applications (pre-issue, issue and post-issue) from providing sales illustrations, tracking status on pending applications, arranging parameds and/or full doctor exams, communicate and follow-up with underwriting on issues and placing problems, complete policy delivery process;
• act as key contact between advisor and clients; maintain up-to-date client files; contact with clients as needed; research and respond as necessary to incoming mail and phone calls from clients;
• regular meetings with advisor;

Requirements:
 

• exceptional computer skills with MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Powerpoint
• excellent communication and writing skills
• data entry/updates and consistent use of a customer relationship management system (Sage CRM);
• critical and keen eye for detail and accuracy and providing high quality work
• ability to calmly multi-task efficiently and work in a fast-paced, intense environment
• common sense approach, listening and deployment skills
• minimum two (2) years experience in insurance industry
• Life insurance license is mandatory
