Position: School Age Staffing Administrator
Location: This position can work from home but if required, will work in an office in the Southwestern Ontario YMCA region
Start Date: March 25, 2024
Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:
• Monday through Friday (no weekends)
• 7.5 hour workday – shift is 6:00 am-2:00 pm daily
• 37.5 hour work week
In this role, you will:
• Be responsible to follow the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario policy and Procedures
• Act as a YMCA ambassador, demonstrating YMCA core values in your daily work.
• Shift begins at 6:00a.m. to support the SA staffing phone line by receiving calls from staff and maintain call-in records such as documenting the specific site, staff name, reason for change in scheduled shift.
• Report to supervisor on staff call-in practices and procedures followed and support the development of policy and practices, which support staffing needs in CES program.
• Support ensuring rations are met in programs by reporting and documenting staffing needs in program.
• Vetting resumes in Dayforce for all positions posted for Children’s Educational Services department.
• Ensure compliance with the policies and procedures of the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario, including Health and Safety, Child Protection and Risk Management.

Education and Skills Qualifications:
• Minimum Completion of high school with two years of experience is in an administrative role is preferred
• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification is an asset
• Current Vulnerable Criminal Reference Check (less than 6 months old)
• Up-to-date immunizations are required by Public Health and Ministry of Education
• Applicants are required to be a minimum of 18 years of age or older as per Ministry of Education guidelines.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Acrobat Pro.
• Efficient organization and time management skills with the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work to deal with multiple demands and deadlines.
• Commitment to customer service and teamwork.
