Humana Community Services is a registered charity, accredited by the Canadian Centre for Accreditation. Through a recent unification process, Anago (Non) Residential Resources Inc. and WAYS Mental Health Support have come together to combine over 100 years of history delivering high-quality services and support for children, youth and adults with specialized needs, and their families/caregivers. Collectively, we are known for providing crisis support; personalized mental health services; supports for community participation and transition to independent living, and safe, therapeutic, educational environments where at-risk children, youth, and vulnerable adults are able to connect, grow and thrive.

Humana Community Services is currently seeking applicants to join our People & Culture team as a Human Resources Generalist. The successful applicant will manage the full cycle recruitment cycle, as well as provide functional support to the People & Culture team in effective and efficient HR processes. With a passion for providing an exceptional candidate experience, they will work to develop strong relationships with hiring managers and members of the administration team.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage the full-cycle recruitment process; including attraction, selection, acquisition, orientation, and on-boarding in consultation with members of the management team
  • Cultivate community network and participate in events to promote employment with the organization; secure ongoing pool of qualified applicants to support efficient recruitment processes
  • Prepare and provide employee information reports as requested and support ongoing HR metric analysis
  • Promote and support health, safety, and wellness objectives and initiatives; support data entry, provide data, and recordkeeping support to the organization
  • Support employee development efforts including tracking and monitoring training including legislated requirements
Qualifications:
  • Two years of HR/recruitment experience
  • Completion of related post-secondary education in Human Resources
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications; specifically Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Respectful, empathetic, and anti-oppressive communication skills with an equity, diversity, and inclusion lens
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with demonstrated customer service approach
  • High attention to accuracy and detail
  • Good judgement and discernment during interactions with others
  • Ability to make independent decisions based on Policies & Procedures
  • Bilingualism is considered an asset
Position details:
  • Starting wage: $24.54/hr, plus paid vacation time off
  • Location: London, ON
