Human Resources Assistant
 
We provide credit card and term loan products to customers across Canada – and we’re growing quickly. Because we help people who may have difficulty getting credit from traditional financial institutions, there is a huge demand for our services. We have ambitious plans, and we’re looking for highly skilled, highly motivated people who want a dynamic environment in which they can make a real difference.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:
  • Supporting Human Resources (HR) Department to achieve departmental goals and functions in a thorough and timely manner
  • Managing preliminary recruitment process including designing job descriptions, posting new roles, screening resumes, conducting pre-screen phone interviews, providing selection recommendations and managing all correspondence with applicants up to the point of hire
  • Conducting and reporting HR related research such as salary ranges for new roles
  • Supporting the HR Department with transactional HR functions such as preparing HR materials for interviews, new hires, and existing employees, and maintaining accurate and comprehensive records of personnel and other filed items
  • Assisting with the development, review, and enforcement of policies and procedures
  • Other duties as required
Here’s what we’re looking for:
  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or a related field, or working towards
  • Excellent written and verbal skills and comprehension
  • Excellent organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to quickly and accurately compare similarities and differences in sets of letters, numbers, objects, patterns and pictures
  • Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures
  • Ability to pass police background check and credit check

This position will be based in London office location on a 6 month contract with opportunity for full time hire.
