STORE MANAGER
Full-Time
Our client, a Pharmacy and Drug store retailer located in the Simcoe area, is looking for a Store Manager to support the management team in increasing profitability through effective planning, budgeting, buying, and inventory control. The store manager will be responsible for the promotional activities of the store in accordance with the organizations best practices to ensure a positive customer experience. The Store manager will supervise staff and ensure proper communication with all levels of the organization. This position requires a flexible, entrepreneurial and pro-active individual. Eligible candidates must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities
Ensure the store achieves Best Practice guidelines to ensure optimum performance Establish and implement store policies and procedures Set budget, buying, inventory and pricing objectives Monitor store goals to ensure progress is being made	Measure and monitor key customer service areas Provide strategic analysis as required to drive improved decision making Manage the recruitment, selection and performance management of store staff Analyze and report on daily, monthly and annual performance indicators

 

Qualification and Experience
Post-Secondary diploma or degree in a related field 5 or more years previous management experience in a retail environment Experience and knowledge of all aspects of inventory management Effective leadership skills with a strong focus on operations and business processes	A solid understanding of personnel policies, practices and procedures High level of confidentiality and accountability Ability to organize and plan multiple objectives within established timelines Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
