The Director, Dentistry Operations provides strategic and operational leadership to an effective and diverse administrative team that ensures the operations of the school are managed effectively, directly supporting the achievement of the highest level of student, patient, and community support. Reporting to the Vice Dean & Director, Dentistry, the Director, Dentistry Operations is responsible for effective financial, human resources, research, and education program support, as well as oversight of the operations of the high functioning dental clinics, including building relationships with community and institutional partners.

You are an experienced people leader, with effective communication and influence skills, enhanced by your respect for and inclusion of all stakeholders. You show mastery in problem-solving, planning and budgeting, with exceptional attention to detail, and an ability to compile, synthesize and interpret relevant data from a wide variety of sources. You enjoy big-picture thinking, building and implementing strategy to achieve short and long term goals. Your finely-tuned organizational skills allow you to manage priorities and deadlines, applying resourcefulness and impeccable judgment to determine urgency and risk, and making decisions that are in the best interest of your team, organization and community. You have demonstrated and honed these skills in your years of experience as a senior leader in a unionized environment, and you complement your abilities with a Masters degree (Business, Public Health, Health Sciences, Leadership) and professional designation (HR, CIM, CPA).
