Job Description

Adecco, on behalf of our client, is recruiting for a Material Follow Up Coordinator in Ingersoll, Ontario for a six month assignment. The successful candidate for this role will be responsible to coordinate material being brought into the plant using the JIT system while ensuring carrier and supplier compliance. Pay rate for this role is $18/hr.
 
Job responsibilities for the Material Follow Up Coordinator job:
  • Follow up on all purchased parts
  • Track parts
  • Communicate with the next shift
  • Follow-up with suppliers and/or carriers
  • Communication with  management and 3rd parties
  • Request part counts
  • Add/ cancel schedule loads
  • Reporting to Plant Manager
 
Requirements for the Material Follow Up Coordinator job:
  • Able to work straight Midnight shifts
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong computer skills (MGO, Excel, and Word)
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • High school diploma (post secondary education in business, logistics, or transportation a definite asset)
  • Ability to take initiative and operate effectively in a fast paced environment
