London Automotive Manufacturing plant seeking a CMM Technician
JOB RESPONSIBILITES:
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
JOB RESPONSIBILITES:
- Perform dimensional layouts to drawings and specifications in accordance with PPAP requirements.
- Responsible for the programming, operating and troubleshooting of the lab CMM.
- Assist Quality in sample submissions requirements and preparations.
- Proficient in the use of measuring equipment(i.e. surface plates, gauge control, verniers, micrometers, height gauges, optical comparators, pin / block gauges) and the ability to read blue prints. Shadow graph.
- Ability to work with minimum supervisions.
- Familiar with FMEA, SPC parts and gauge layout.
- Support with fixture layouts and liaison with tooling and engineering pertaining to new product introductions and tooling improvements.
- Good math skills – geometry, trigonometry, verbal and written communications, time management and team problem time solving skills.
- Grade 12 post secondary an asset.
- Other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to you by your Supervisor from time to time.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years experience in the use of Coordinate Measuring Machines and in a stamping and assembly environment.
- Knowledge of Quality Measuring Equipment & Dimensional Layout of parts
- Grade 12 Education and Post Secondary Education in related field.
- Completion of Quality related courses is a definite asset.
- Experience and Knowledge of the APQP process, MSA and PPAP
