Requirements of the Software Developer:
- A Minimum of 3 years’ Experience developing with Java/J2EE/Spring MVC/Akka and web based technologies;
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and/or experience;
- A demonstrated familiarity with current software industry trends and emergent technologies;
- Strong OO analysis and design skills;
- Proven diagnostic, analytical, problem solving skills, and attention to detail.
Web Skills:
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks/libraries, especially AngularJS
- HTML5/CSS3, especially Bootstrap and Responsive Design techniques
- Tools: Node.js/NPM/Yeoman/Bower/Gulp/Less
Additional Bonus Skills:
- JUnit experience
- Agile experience
- Sound knowledge of enterprise design patterns
- Relational database experience (current Oracle release preferred)
- Application Server experience, especially JBoss/Wildfly
- Deployments targeting Windows/Red Hat operating systems
