CLASSIFICATION:                                 Assistant, Community Use of Facilities (1.0 F.T.E.,12 month position)
                                                                                   
LOCATION:                                              Director’s Office, Education Centre, London
 
HOURS OF WORK:                                8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Subject to Article 15.01 (b))
                       
RATE OF PAY:                                          $18.94 to $22.95 per hour
                                                                                                                       
DUTIES TO COMMENCE:                      As soon as possible
 
JOB SUMMARY: The Assistant, Community Use of Facilities reports to the Supervisor, Community Use of Facilities/Outreach Coordinator. The Assistant is responsible for maintaining reservation arrangements on school properties and assisting with secretarial and clerical functions in the Community Use of Facilities office. The individual in this role will need to have excellent customer relations skills, be able to deal with a high volume of phone calls, and e-mails. In addition, the Assistant must be detail oriented, possess excellent computer skills and strong interpersonal skills.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must possess an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with business and keyboarding (50 w.p.m.) skills. The ability to use Word and Excel is also required. Selected candidates must successfully complete a practical skills assessment.
 
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of one and a half years of related work experience.
